Dear associate,

 

the celebrations of a fundamental event for our territory and for the Italian reclamation have just ended. Between 23 and 25 March 1922 was held in San Donà di Piave, the first "Veneto Regional Congress for Reclamation" which assumed, for the topics covered, the level and origin of the participants, a national importance. Then, during the reconstruction of the Country after the war, Administrators, Technicians and Reclaimers, had a "clear vision of the goal to be achieved" recognizing that the transformation of the territory was the premise for a transformation of society.

 

Even in the particular context of the present day, the Consortium works to seize the new challenges without losing sight of the essential services, the true basis on which the reclamation is based to keep our territory livable.

 

The path to improve the usual work continues: the maintenance of waterways and systems, the drainage service and irrigation, with an eye to innovation and with the aim of making this path sustainable, both from an economic and environmental point of view. We use and will increasingly use technology to give better answers and, at the same time, optimize the use of resources, water and energy in particular, objectives that can no longer be postponed given today's international climate and economic context.

 

The Consortium, aware of having a precious territory to defend and enhance, has invested in collaborations with Local Authorities, from the Metropolitan City of Venice to the Municipalities, applying for projects to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for a total of 107 million euros, of which it is awaiting assignment, transforming interventions dedicated to hydraulics into opportunities for urban regeneration.

 

Also within the framework of the PNRR, initiatives were presented for an amount of 65 million euros that will improve the irrigation service to farms, with a saving of the increasingly precious water resource.

 

Moreover, the various meteoric events that have affected Eastern Veneto in recent years, from the Vaia Storm of October 2018 to the exceptional high tides of 2019, have on the one hand highlighted the sensitivity of our territory and on the other open the possibility of intervening with emergency resources for the adaptation of existing hydraulic works, operating primarily on the rise of the embankments and the defenses at sea.

 

While investments in new works are supported by specific financing policies, the national and regional legislation establishing the Board, provides that the cost of all the management and maintenance activities of the works is charged to the owners of real estate, divided by homogeneous methods defined by a special Classification Plan.

 

With this Notice of Payment, we therefore inform you of the amount for the year 2022 of the reclamation or irrigation contributions paid by the properties you own, determined in implementation of the Allocation Plan for the 2022 financial year, approved by the Consortium Assembly with Determination n. 12 of 25.11.2021, according to the criteria of the Classification Plan approved by the Veneto Region with DGR n. 1563 of 03.10.2017.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

 

Associates resident abroad have the possibility to pay this notice by bank transfer to the bank account at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, in the name of:

carefully indicating in the object the Notice number (“Avviso di pagamento”) and the Tax code (“Codice fiscale”) only.

 

 

IMPORTANT

 

This Notice constitutes a good-natured form of payment and is sent to all taxpayers registered in the roles of the Consortium at the beginning of the current 2022 financial year.

 We invite you to check the header, the tax code, the address, and the update of the real estate load, as documented in the specific attached partitario. Any requests for rectification or updating may be made to the Board Offices; similarly, requests may be submitted to update the specific characteristics of the buildings for which the reduction of the contribution is envisaged: urban areas in situations of hydraulic invariance, agronomic penalty, subsistence of rural building requirements or areas affected by changes in the effectiveness of the irrigation system.

 

The request for change does not mean that the deadlines for the payment of the contribution will be suspended and will take effect from the role of 2022. For changes in ownership, however, the right to retaliate on the buyer for the remediation contributions paid after the sale remains valid for the seller.

 

The Notice may be paid through the attached MAV bulletins, without charge to the taxpayer, at the branches of the Consortium Treasurer, Banca Monte Paschi di Siena or of the Credit Institutions, also through home-banking service. Alternatively, payment can be made at the Post Offices and Lottomatica counters, in this case with the charge provided by the manager.

 

In the event of non-payment, the mandatory procedures provided by DPR 602/1973 and subsequent modifications will be activated, and then notified the payment bills with the increase of the expenses and fees required by law for compulsory collection.

 

To verify the regular payment of the contribution in previous years, a specific summary table is reported at the beginning of page 2 of this notice. Please check the report and, in case of confirmation, contact the Consortium Offices for the purpose of regularizing payments.

 

Please note that for the purposes of the tax return, the reclamation contributions may be included among the charges deductible from gross income, pursuant to art. 10, letter a) of Presidential Decree 917/1986 and Resolution no. 44/E of 4.7.2013. For this purpose, we invite you to keep the entire Notice and the receipt of payment.

 

Associates who wish to receive the Payment Notice in electronic format directly to their E-mail or PEC address  or who wish to activate the direct debit to the bank account (SDD) can request it by filling in the appropriate attached forms, also available on the Consortium's website - www.bonificavenetorientale.it - in the "Cadastre" section or at the Offices of the Institution.

 

Any appeal against this Notice of Payment, for material errors, can be proposed to the Consortium (art. 112 – R.D. 8 May 1904, n.368) within thirty days of the deadline (D.P.R. 24.11.1971, n.1199).
